What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and understand how pages are used. Related technologies (such as localStorage) may store similar choices — for example your cookie consent decision.

How we use cookies

Virtualization Analytics uses essential cookies (and localStorage) to remember your consent choice and keep basic site functions working. If you accept analytics cookies, we may use them to learn which lesson and field-note pages are most useful so we can improve wording and navigation.

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block access to curriculum pages, lesson descriptions, or the enquiry form.

Cookies we use

Essential items operate whether you accept or reject analytics. Analytics items are only set after Accept on the cookie banner.

Managing cookies

On first visit our banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. You can clear site data in your browser settings to remove stored choices and see the banner again. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google under their terms. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers. If we later add a map or video embed on a lesson page, that third party may set its own cookies — we will update this table accordingly.

Impact of disabling

Blocking all cookies may reset your consent banner on each visit and can limit our ability to remember preferences. Core training content remains readable.
